Mary Meehan, a Sister of Christian Community, holds a Doctorate in Ministry
from Virginia Theological Seminary. She is an author of 20 books including
the best-seller The Healing Power of Prayer, Praying With Women of the
Bible (Liguori), Praying with Visionary Women (Sheed & Ward) and
co-author with Regina Madonna Oliver of A Promise of Presence (ACTA),
Praying with a Passionate Heart and Affirmations from the Heart of God.
(Liguori). Their most recent book is Praying with Celtic Holy Women
(Jan. 2003).
Dr.
Meehan is currently producer and host of the thought-provoking and inspirational
TV program called "GodTalk"; a series of programs designed to draw people
of different faiths together to think about pressing social and moral
