"To
pray with a passionate heart means learning to feel, think, and
experience with our whole being all that life is. It means using
our imagination, feeling, and thoughts to open ourselves to the
divine touch in our souls."
Inject
passion into your prayer experience with this inspiring book from popular
authors Bridget Mary Meehan and Regina Madonna Oliver.
Expanding
the traditional definition of prayer, Meehan and Oliver will help you
foster a closer relationship with God through all of your daily thoughts,
feelings, and actions.
Using
prayer therapies, directed meditations, and scriptural illuminations,
Praying with a Passionate Heart encourages you not only to "tune in"
to God but also to "fall in love" with God. By doing so, you will begin
to experience a deeper intimacy with God and with others while you learn
to live joyfully each day, share openly with God, forgive and ask forgiveness,
let go of fear, and commune with prayer companions.
"Every
person is a living, breathing, praying person. Every moment, every feeling,
thought, desire, and action of our lives can reveal God's abiding presence.
All we have to do is become aware of this wondrous love. "
In
Praying with a Passionate Heart, Meehan and Oliver will also help you
see each moment of your life as an opportunity-one in which you experience
God's revitalizing, healing, renewing, nurturing, and strengthening
blessings.
